one-hundred-seventy-seven. january 7, 2011. "i am unethical."

i did not exactly steal this. every january my school has something called "fitness fanatics." people keep track of the hours they exercise, and at the end there is a winner. i signed up like last year, and decorated a little shoe to hang on the wall. turns out this year the first 3 people to sign up get a free water bottle. which i didn't know until today.

i was so excited to receive my DREAM WATER BOTTLE, and i took it with glee and headed for the door. (it's light, it's squeezable! its just what i've been looking for!)

but then i remembered...

i'm quitting this job. like, now. so i have to give it back. sigh.

one-hundred-seventy-six. january 6, 2011. "skill set."

this is the kind of work i currently bring home with me. i create things out of construction paper. just wanted to acknowledge my mad skills, because i'm hoping this is the last time i bring this type of work back with me...

one-hundred-seventy-five. january 5, 2011. "what waits for me."

one of my sisters made me a t-shirt quilt for Christmas. well, i sort of told her to. it's the warmest quilt in the world. the WORLD. i am sad to go to bed an hour late tonight, mostly because it was an hour with the quilt that i lost.

one-hundred-seventy-four. january 4, 2011. "question mark."

that's the end of my paper chain. now that i'm faced with the remaining 3 links, it's harder to pull the trigger. to change everything. to boldly go where...i have no idea where! tomorrow i carry my freedom papers in my pocket. we'll see...

and if you're just now joining me, none of that makes any sense does it?

one-hundred-seventy-three. january 3, 2011. "unsettling."

not only did i make my own snuggie tonight, but i improved on the very concept. i threw in my glittens for added warmth.

what i was a little sad to discover was how un-white my glittens have become, compared to the brand new white robe i got for Christmas from one of the kids in my class.

one-hundred-seventy-two. january 2, 2011. "sunday morning."
